Volume 1 has an engraved frontispiece signed as made by Rastaini which shows: 'Roma Antica Bas.o Riliev.o nella vill.a Albani'. Most plates are unsigned, but a few are signed as engraved by F. R[astaini], Silvestrini, Benede. Mori or Aless. Muchetti. In Volume 2 no plate is signed, apart from pl. 44, which is signed as made by Piranesi F. Several plates in both volumes appear to have had signatures erased.
