In: Library CollectionSummary: Hakewill drew this view from the left bank level with the Ponte Rotto, standing somewhere near the house of Crescenzio. To the right of the picture is one of the mill-houses which used this stretch of the river; to the left the high building is part of the Case degli Alberteschi and the houses by the river are the backs of those on the now-disappeared via delle Boccie. The church to the left of the ponte Rotto is S. Salvatore de Pede Pontis now demolished. To the bottom right is the area of Forum Boarium.
